Talk:Sensing and intuition

Maybe it doesn't matter much, but I prefer to write "senser" because "sensor" means something else. (Admin 09:44, 16 June 2007 (CDT))

I'm not sure about the "typical characteristics" section. These seem more like private observations. (Admin 18:18, 20 June 2007 (CDT))

What does "private observations" mean for you ? Machintruc 18:49, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
I meant personal observations. I haven't heard about different reading styles and memory patterns relating to intuition and sensing. Maybe there's something to this, but I'm surprised to read it here instead of more typical formulations. (Admin 02:03, 21 June 2007 (CDT))
Yes, this sounds awfully familiar (this was the basis for one of machintruc's tests, which didn't work very well), and I think most of these observations are wrong. This one, for example: "Use memory confidently, especially when irrational." Intuition has just as much to do with memory as sensing does. Thehotelambush 01:23, 5 July 2007 (CDT)

"When irrational, usually seem constantly in physical contact with reality, even if nothing really does."

What does that last part mean? Thehotelambush 01:23, 5 July 2007 (CDT)

Divide dichotomies?

I can see a couple reasons to divide dichotomy pages (mainly to allow for more detail and discussion of each), and also some reasons to keep them together (to compare them more). Right now there are also separate pages for sensing and intuition that are just getting started. What do others think? --Admin 01:57, 9 July 2007 (CDT)

I think we should keep them together. The dichotomy pages are awfully short right now anyway. We could just have a section for each trait (and in the case of S/N/T/F for the two corresponding element). Thehotelambush 02:18, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
OK, then those articles will need to be combined. We probably can't combine the extraverted/introverted elements, though, because we have growing desciptions of them in each position of Model A. --Admin 02:25, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
