Bukalov, Aleksandr

Aleksandr Bukalov (often written Boukalov), Doctor of Psychology, is the head of the International Institute of Socionics in Kiev, Ukraine. He found out about socionics in the early days of the field, in his early 20s and, along with Viktor Gulenko, was a dominant figure in the Kiev school of socionics, which established its preeminence in the field for many years to come.

Biography

Since the early years 1990s, he was the organizer of all-union conferences on socionics, and consecutively - international conferences on socionics. In 1991, in Kiev, he has established the International Institute of Socionics (IIS) - a legal organization (International Institute of Socionics LLP) which engages in commercial and research activities in the field of socionics. On March 15, 2006, Bulakov has established the International Socionics Council of Research and Development on the basis of IIS. He has also created several magazines, served as their editor, including one of the most well-known journals in socionics - SMiPL ("Socionics, Mentology, and Psychology of Personality").

Despite having the same last name as Grigoriy Bukalov, they are not relatives.
